PPP working to provide basic rights: Warraich

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab President and federal Interior Minister Imtiaz Safdar Warraich said the PPP leadership was committed to providing facilities to all communities and that practical steps were being taken for it.
In a meeting held with a delegation of the PPP human rights wing from all over Punjab led by its president, Muhammed Saleem Mayo, the minister lauded the role of the wing.
Saleem Mayo briefed the minister about the problems faced by the workers and said the wing needed special attention.
Warraich promised to solve their problems on priority and said a meeting of the wing will be arranged soon with the leadership.
Warraich appointed Raja Mushtaq Hussain as vice-president of the Chakwal district human rights wing.
Azizur Rehman Chan and Ijaz Ahmed Yousafzai were also present during the meeting.
