Non-bailable warrants issued for Uzair Baloch, Baba Ladla

A local court on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for chief of banned outfit People’s Aman Committee (PAC) Uzair Jan Baloch and Noor Muhamamd aka Baba Ladla. Police said both the accused were wanted in case pertaining to sale of illegal arms. It is to mention here that police launched an operation in Lyari against the PAC last month but failed to make any arrest. The police were apparently called back due public wrath against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in its stronghold Lyari. Some media reports also suggested that the PPP had formed a committee to mend its ties with the leadership of the PAC in a bid to carry out political activities in the violence-stricken locality.
