Multan Pilot become National Inter-school Baseball Champion

Multan Pilot become Champion of first-ever National Inter School Baseball Championship 2012 while Vertex School Gujranwala took silver medal and Science Base Gujranwala got bronze medal. Out of a total nine schools Pilot Multan beat Vertex School Gujranwala 8-0 in the final played at the Punjab Stadium. Main scorers of Multan Pilot School were Zeshan Amed and Sadam Hussain made two run each, and Saif Ullah, Asad, Shah Rukh and Numan one each. Pitcher of Pilot School Multan not allowed to Vertex School Gujranwala made any score. Khawar Shah Secretary General Pakistan Federation distributed medals and Trophy to the Champion Pilot School Multan. During Championship 25 Players were selected for National training Cap .National training cap will be supervised by the foreign coach. Pakistan Youth (U-15) baseball team will participate in 7th Asian Baseball Championship in Nov, 2012 in India. Earlier, Science Vetex School, Gujranwala and Multan Pilot School entered the final. While Vetex chalked up 6-2 win against Science Base School, Gujranwala, Multan school outclassed Grammar School , Faisalabad 14-4. For Vetex, Mehran was the main scorer with two runs, while Usama, Aamir Hamza, Sarmad, Wasi Ahmad added one run each. For the losing side Hashim and Hafiz Zohaib added one run each. The final will be played on Sunday in the evening, while in the morning the third position match will also be held.
