The Fort Munro incident

We had not consumed the news that four gangsters harassed two sisters in Wazirabad, and apparently molested them in front of public with no one coming to their rescue, when I heard TV news of five girls raped and molested in Fort Munro by none other than border police. I do not know the details as yet but I guess the personnel have been identified as border police people. These girls had gone there for recreational visit. Now that these people have been identified, a summary trial should be held by a special magistrate and they should be punished to the maximum. The punishment should be such that others learn lesson of their life time. No mercy should be admitted. No usual tactics and protection of institutions be provided to them. Let it not become an issue attached to Balochistan rights or for that matter an issue of PML(N), PPP and PTI. Let us for a change hold one trial fairly on law. I hope NGOs for human rights do not step in favour of these BP personnel? Such news belittle Pakistan internationally. I hope our government still exists and I hope Rehman Malik does not budge in as he is fond of making heroic statements.
