PPP legislators, led by Punjab Assembly opposition leader Raja Riaz, staged a demonstration against the provincial budget, the chief minister and “bad governance.” Wearying black armbands, the lawmakers flayed the Punjab government for “presenting a vague and anti-people budget and for not providing relief to the price hike-stricken masses of the province.” They said the present budget was a repetition of the previous one, adding that on one hand, Shahbaz Sharif was ruling the country’s biggest province while on the other, he had set up a Camp Office against the federal government to earn popularity.
