The Standing Committee of National Assembly on Human Rights has taken notice of the rape of five tourist women by some security forces officials at Fort Manro near Dera Ghazi Khan.
The committee has summoned Commandant Border Military Police , District Coordination Officer(DCO) and District Police officer (DPO) Dera Ghazi Khan on next meeting in person and order them to bring the full record of the incident.
The Chairman of the committee Riaz Fatiyana has condemned the incident and called the committee meeting to discuss the issue on 21 June.
