DGK rape case: Officials deny molesting five girls

Border Levies Police officers allegedly involved in rape of five girls have denied charges against them.
Talking to media persons on telephone from undisclosed location on Sunday, the three cops claimed that they did not molest girls and it was a preplanned conspiracy against them.
The three Border Levies Police personnel identified as Zahid, Naveed and Muzaffar were of the view that they are ready to present themselves before the investigation team if they are assured that process would be transparent.
“We respect women and did not commit the crime, in fact, the girls were lying.”
Cops said that the five girls, along with two boys, were in a car when they stopped them at a check post at Fort Monroe, but the girls refused to get themselves searched.
The girls’ refusal escalated to arguments and fight between the cops and the boys, and, according to cops, they fled the scene without being checked.
They said they themselves came to know through the media that they ‘raped’ the girls. “They registered a fake case to avenge the fight.”
