CNG strike enters fifth day

CNG customers across the country continued suffering as the strike called by the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) entered its fifth day on Sunday and CNG stations remained closed in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Punjab and Balochistan, according to local TV channels.
Following the unavailability of CNG, petrol and diesel have also become rare commodies in several cities as petrol pump owners joined strike called by APCNGA.
Long queues of cars and bikes are seen at city petrol stations across major cities which are supplying a limited proportion as shortage of fuel is adversely affecting routine life.
Taking advantage of the situation, taxi and rickshaw drivers are fleecing commuters by charging fares of their own.
People blame petrol pumps staff for making illegal profit and they believed it is an artificial shortage of fuel.
People are also seen selling black CNG in different cities.
