Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani reached Lahore on Friday via PIA Airbus PK304, which caused a loss of Rs1.7 million to the national flag carrier.
According to a private TV channel, the airbus, which had a capacity of 184 passengers, was forced to carry only 71 passengers due to the presence of the PM onboard the flight.
Gilani arrived in Lahore after his two-day visit to Karachi.
