Former Jammat-e-Islami amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Friday said that the occupied Kashmir would get freedom at every cost because the nation had given great sacrifices for its liberation from the clutches of the occupying Indian forces.
He was talking at a seminar organised by Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust.
He said that Kashmiri people in the occupied part also wanted to join Pakistan and maintained that only through religious fervour and sacrifices this objective would be achieved.
Qazi warned that it would be considered an act of treason if the stance over occupied Kashmir was changed by the government. “The government has declared India as the most favoured nation and its impacts are being felt on the freedom struggle movement, besides having an impact on the national economy,” he added.
