All Pakistan CNG Association Chairman Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha on Friday warned the government of closing down petrol pumps as well if the association’s demands were not accepted. He said the government was not realising the problems of the public, adding that instead of withdrawing the CNG strike, petrol pumps in the province would also be shut down if the government did not pay heed to their demands. “It is the fifth consecutive day of CNG closure in Lahore and the public is compelled to walk miles, there is no traffic on the roads and if petrol pumps also join the strike, the public will be really hit hard,” Paracha said in a statement.
