14kg of drugs seized

The city police on Friday arrested six drug sellers, including a woman, and recovered 14 kilograms of hashish and heroin from them, a police spokesman said.
The city zone police on a tip off intercepted a truck on Kashmir Highway, recovered 12kg of charas from it and arrested a drug supplier. He was identified as Hashmat. Teams have been constituted to arrest remaining accused.
Meanwhile, Shehzad Town police arrested two accused identified as Imran Gul and Mohib Khan for having two kilograms of hashish.
Kohsar police arrested Ameer Khan and Abbas Masih and recovered a total of 310gm of heroin while Industrial area police team apprehended a bootlegger Shafique for having six wine bottles. A police team of Kohsar police nabbed an accused Ismail and recovered three cans of liquor from him while a female identified as Chand Bibi was arrested by Ramna police in possession of 50 grams of heroin.
Body recovered from Masrial Road: A dead body of an old man was recovered in the precincts of Police station Westridge on Masrial road here the other day.
An old man who was (55) years old was lying dead in one house at Ilyas colony on Masrial Road.
On getting information police reached the scene and the dead body was identified as Sher Afgan residents of Faisalabad.
He was living alone and earn livelihood from chemical work.
According to SHO Westridge Malik Allah Yar the deceased was killed three days before. Police have registered the case and the dead body was shifted to local Hospital for autopsy.
