Pakistan is terrifying country for layman, says Kaira

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira Friday said that Pakistan is a terrifying state for layman, adding that it is an uphill task to provide security to the journalists.
Talking to media persons outside the parliament, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the government is providing training to the journalist, adding that Pakistan is an underdeveloped country and it is not possible for the government to provide security to each journalist in the country.
He said that Kamran Khan statement in the Supreme Court proved that the PPP has no link with Dr Arsalan corruption case as the party has no differences with the apex court in 2009.
Kaira rejected the impression that the PPP has had differences with the SC, adding that International powers tried to create problems but the PPP did not leave the course of democracy.
“Allegations are leveled against the children of high profile people, including the PM’s son, Moonis Elahi son of Pervez Elahi, Hamza Shahbaz all of them faced different kinds of allegations, adding that Dr. Arsalan should reply to all allegations, which were leveled against him”, he said.
Condemning the criticism against the CJ, Federal Minster expressed hope that all the allegations against Dr Arsalan would prove false.
Replying to a question, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that it had been a good gesture if the opposition PML-N would have participated in the budget session.
