A fire broke out at a godown here on Friday, gutting goods worth of millions of rupees.
Two laborers also suffered serious burn wounds.
The fire started due to an electric short circuit and soon engulfed the whole godown.
Some 20 laborers were working in the godown when the fire broke out.
Rescue teams struggled to extinguish the fire due to heavy smoke.
On the other hand, godown’s supervisor complained about the late arrival of the fire tenders.
