Nadeem Afzal Chan, Chairman of Public Accounts Committee and Jamshed Dasti, MNA, called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at his Parliament House Chamber here on Thursday.
They deeply regretted the attitude of PML-N in the National Assembly, adding that they should contribute in the political stability and the strengthening of democratic institutions by participating in the proceedings in accordance with best democratic practices.
They appreciated the decision of PPP leadership for not resorting to the same tactics as were employed by the PML-N in the forthcoming Budget session of Punjab Assembly.
They said that by resorting to hooliganism, the PML-N is undermining the supremacy of the Parliament and ideals of democracy. Nadeem Afzal Chan and Jamshed Dasti also discussed with the Prime Minister development projects in their respective constituencies.
why these parliamentarians try to investigate about the steps and reasons which led to this situation.They must have an open debate in the NA to sort out the problems and openly and neutraly discus on these issues.If the pm is not obeying the laws of the counrty,then they would not expect the reasonable reaction from the general public.PM is not an angel nor any messenger of Allah that no laws are effective for him.He must ratherthan the high command of ppp must eealise and give up the policy of confrntation with the super judiciary at this time and they must remove this man from the premiership immediately and due to him the whole counrty is going on wong dirction.
