The Corps Commanders Conference decided to fortify the security of Pak-Afghan border, while expressing apprehensions over the increasing miscreant attacks on army and civilians from across the border. The 150th meeting of Corps Commanders was held at GHQ under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani. The meeting took stock of the proposed operation in North Waziristan Agency, however, no final decision was taken in this regard. Peshawar Corps Commander Lt Gen Khalid Rabbani gave a briefing on the security situation along the western border as well as in North and South Waziristan. The Corps Commanders also talked about the missing persons, as they were briefed on the issue by the ISI. The conference decided to resolve the matter of missing persons in the light of instructions issued by the Supreme Court. Mattes regarding professional preparedness and abilities of the Pakistan Army also came under discussion during the meeting and the commanders expressed satisfaction over it. Sources said the Corps Commanders also held detailed discussion on the war against terrorism and drone attacks by the US and termed these attacks against national sovereignty.
I think these Corps Commanders meetings are held so they can figure out which commander gets how much. They are all in it together. What productivity has ever come out of these meetings? If I was kiayani I would hang myself in shame for not being able to defend my country. I don't think I could ever have faced my commanders knowing how badly I have failed at my job including Abbottabad incident. Apparently kiayani has no shame. Tie him to the end of a missile and send him to India 🙂
Have some mercy on the Indians. They are poor. They can not provide for Kiayani's pension or any other PA generals for that matter …
I didn't say tie him alive. I believe the pension gets cut in half after the person's death :). Thats a whopping 50% savings!!!
