CNG ASSOCIATION ‘has had enough’

The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) staged a protest at the Shadman Chowk on Wednesday to oppose the proposed increase in CNG prices and other issues.
Holding placards and posters, hundreds of protesters, including the employees of CNG filling stations, chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
APCNGA, CNG Dealers Association and CNG Owners Association had announced a strike and the demonstrations to call attention to their issues.
Addressing the occasion, APCNGA Vice Chairman Captain (r) Shuja said the government should resolve all the issues regarding the CNG sector so that the employees of the CNG filling stations could earn their livelihoods in peace.
He stated that almost all the filling stations are facing a three-day weekly closure of CNG while during the other days they have to face low gas pressure in the urban areas.
APCNGA Chairman Ghyyas Abdullah Paracha said the proposed increase in CNG prices was a big issue for the CNG sector as the industry is already facing a lot of problems. He demanded that the government accept their demands at the earliest.
