Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Husan said on Wednesday that Balochistan has become a hub of international terrorist activities, in which several foreign agencies, including those of India and Israel were involved.
In a statement, he said the Israeli and Indian agencies, under the supervision of the CIA, were creating a fake law and order situation in Balochistan and providing money to rebel groups for the dismemberment of Balochistan.
He said the government had failed to protect the country as there was evidence that attested to its involvement in foreign countries and in Balochistan, adding that it was only working to save its power.
He said the government and military should take firm action for stopping foreign interference in Balochistan.
He appealed to the Supreme Court to take action against the involvement of foreign agencies in Balochistan and to order the state’s agencies to play their constitutional role in maintaining law and order and stability in the country.
He said former Interior Minister Rehman Malik had done nothing to overcome the interference of foreign agencies in Balochistan.
