23 outlaws arrested; weapons and wine recovered

Islamabad police have arrested 23 out laws from various areas of the city and recovered weapons and liquor from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan has categorically directed all heads of police stations to launch effective crackdown against those elements running guest house illegally and involved in immoral activities. Following these directions, special vigilance is being made against such elements and strict action is being ensured against them. On a tip off, ASI Qaim Ali Shah from Shehzad Town police station along with police team raided the house and arrested 16 persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons were identified as Musa Khan, Younus, Sajid Mehmud, Abdul Qayyum, Asif Ali,Zain Abbass, Liaqat Ali, Khalil, Nida, Iram, Aneela, Safia, Ambar, Sanoobar, Mehwish and Sumera. Further investigation is underway from them.
Sub Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Shehzad Town police nabbed Suleman and Aziz Khan besides recovering a total of four liquor bottles from them. ASI Aurangzeb from Sihala police arrested Imran and Abdul Waheed and recovered one pistol each from their possession. ASI Shakeel Ahmed from Aabpara police recovered a 30-bore pistol from Kher Muhammad while ASI Arshad Mehmud from Sabzi Mandi police nabbed Iftikhar Ahmed for possessing a 30-bore pistol.
