At least four people were killed and more than 15 others injured when a passenger bus turned on Tuesday.
According to police, a Karachi bound passenger coach coming from district Mansehra of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa overturned at National Highway in front of Chalgari Police Station near Miani Forest.
As a result of the accident, four people were killed on the spot while 15 others sustained injuries.
Local people, police and rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the dead bodies and injured to different hospitals of the area.
According to hospital sources, condition of five injured people was serious and it was feared that the death toll may rise further.
After the accident, traffic at National Highway remained suspended for more than one and a half hours and later the road was cleared by removing the wreckage of the bus.
Police and injured passengers said that over speeding and reckless driving caused the accident.
The police took the vehicle into custody and started the investigations.
