2 killed, several injured in Quetta violence

A man was killed and another two were injured in two separate incidents of firing in Quetta, officials said on Monday. According to details, unidentified men opened fire in Gahi Chowk in the city area of Hazar Ganji, killing two men. The injured were shifted to hospital. The other firing incident occurred in Qambrani Road, when unidentified saboteurs gunned down Daru Khan. Security personnel cordoned off the two areas. However, no arrest was made so far. Separately, a man was killed and several others were injured when a bomb went off outside a private bank in Panjgaur district of Balochistan, sources said on Monday.
The sources said the blast left several people injured who were taken to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. No organisation has claimed responsibility for the blast, police said. Meanwhile, unidentified armed men shot at and injured a man in Loralai district. The victim, identified as Muhammad Yousuf, was on his way home when the armed motorcyclists opened fire on him.
