Punjab govt to stand by masses: Sanaullah

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led provincial government would stand by the masses in protests in favour of their demands for basic rights, such as smooth power supply.
Talking to media persons here on Monday before leaving for Lahore, Rana Sanaullah blamed that the federal government has intentionally deprived Punjab of electricity to avenge the masses of the province for supporting PML-N.
He said that through a pre-planned conspiracy, the federal government was destroying the textile industry of Punjab by prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding.
Rana Sanaullah blamed that 700MW electricity of Punjab was being provided to Sindh, while people of the province have to bear loadshedding upto 20 hours.
He said that the ministers and MPAs of N-League are servants of the masses, and were elected to represent the masses, and resolve their hardships.
The provincial law minister said that those blaming PML-N for rebellion and deceiving the nation should mend their own ways first.
Sana said that on one hand, the federal government considers itself above the law and constitution, but on the other hand it wants other stakeholders to follow the laws of the country.
