A passenger bus carrying guests of a wedding ceremony fell into a deep ravine near Kahuta on Sunday, killing 25 people, including women and children, and injuring 40 others. Private TV channels reported that the bus was on its way from Kahuta to Chakwal. The driver lost control over the vehicle, and the ill-fated bus plunged into a ravine near Kahuta. Rescuers said several women and children were also among the victims. The dead and the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors said that several injured passengers were in critical condition.
