Bangladesh Cricket Board chief Mustafa Kamal has said they are still interested in touring Pakistan for a cricket series, and, if it wasn’t for the High Court injunction, the tour would have not been postponed. The shambolic circumstances under which the tour of Bangladesh to Pakistan was postponed, has threatened to tarnish the affable relationship between the two cricket Boards. After agreeing to become the first international cricket team to tour Pakistan in almost three years, the BCB postponed the tour citing an injunction order from the Bangladesh Supreme court, but Kamal tried to explain BCB’s stand over the matter. “There is a case pending in the High court and until it is resolved in the courts, it was not right for the tour to go ahead otherwise it may have been termed as contempt of court.
