Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa administered the oath to Justice Umer Ata Bandial as the chief justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) in a ceremony at the Governor’s House on Friday. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, Senators Aitzaz Ahsan, Pervaiz Rasheed, Punjab Chief Secretary Nasir Mehmood Khosa, representatives from the armed forces, judges of the LHC and lawyers from the Supreme Court and the Punjab bars attended the ceremony.
