Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has completed the new computerised pilot system for providing new electricity connections on early and transparent basis.
According to an IESCO spokesman, it has started this project with fully automation in F-6 sub-divisional office. He said that the purpose behind this computerized system was that the consumers could get new connection on easy and transparent way than before. He said that all records of consumers would be made computerised and demand notice would also be issued accordingly and once the new meter is installed, the electricity bills would be issued from the very next month and the consumers would not pay their bills more than one month.
He pointed out that in future this service would also be introduced in other offices of IESCO.
