Attorneys play vital role in dispensing justice: Justice Tariq Pervez

Supreme Court of Pakistan Judge Justice Tariq Pervez has said that there is no end to learning and learning through interaction is more effective than learning through lecturing.
He expressed these views during a certificate-awarding ceremony held on the conclusion of a one-week course on ‘District Attorneys and Management of Civil Cases’ on Friday.
Justice Tariq Pervez said that this course0 would have definitely increased knowledge and it would be very helpful in professional work. “I believe that knowledge does not only come through lectures but also through interaction, when we interact with each other during such like courses and share our experience and knowledge with each other and of course experience comes with age and it has no substitute,” he maintained.
He said the that relationship of bench and bar was proverbially described as the two wheels of the chariot of justice so in that perspective the question was, what was the role of attorneys. “About the attorneys’ essential role, let me coin like this that their role was as essential as three wheels for any rickshaw to run it,” he illustrated.
Earlier, Parvaiz Ali Chawla presented an overview of the training course. He advised the attorneys to work to safeguard the interests of the masses and that of the government. Later, the chief guest gave certificates to 20 attorneys, including one female.
