Six more matches were decided in the ongoing Ufone Inter-Media Cricket Tournament at MNA Hostel Cricket Ground organized by National Press Club Islamabad.
With the collaboration of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Daily Nawai-e-Waqt beat Din by 9 wickets in the first match. Batting first Din score 51 with 5 wickets and Nawai-e-Waqt chase target in 5th over with the help of Numan Malik 20 and Bilal Pannu 12 runs.
In the second match Combined XI outclassed Business Recorder by 9 wickets with wonderful performance of Mohsin Ali and Faisal Hakeem who score 37 and 23 respectively to give victory for Combined XI. Earlier Business Recorder 79 runs with 7 wickets in allotted overs.
Online won very close encounter against The News by 8 wickets. The News won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 57 runs, Humayun Aziz remained the top scorer from the batting side as he scored 28 runs to 57.The Online chased the target in last over of the match by losing two wickets.
Meanwhile, Channel five-cricket team has clinched the victory by defeating Daily Asas cricket team by 22 runs while Sama TV cricket team has defeated Daily Express cricket team by 21 Runs.
Sixth match of the second day was played between Daily Sama and Daily Pakistan. Daily Sama beat daily Pakistan by 24 runs.
