Minister for Defence Ahmad Mukhtar said that he would assume the charge of Ministry of Water and Power very soon on the direction of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.
While talking to local TV Channel he said that Government is taking measures to end power crisis and soon public will hear good news in this regard.
He also added that the problem of power would be resolved before the upcoming elections.
When asked about next Minister for Defence, he replied Syed Naveed Qamar would be the Minister for Defence.
