The Punjab Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the Safe Child Organisation, held a ‘No smoking Walk’ on Thursday. The walk started from the Lahore Press Club and concluded on the Kashmir Road. Officers of the department and representatives of the Safe Child Organisation participated in the walk. Social Welfare Department Director General Malik Muhammad Aslam said: “The aim of the walk is to create awareness among the people, especially the youth, about the injurious effects of smoking.”
