If a state recognises someone as its citizen, how can it deprive one of one’s rights? There is a clear difference between foreign nationality and dual nationality; while our constitution definitely bars foreign nationality holders to become Member of Parliament and law may take its course in case of violation; no such stipulation is mentioned for dual nationality holders.
For the giddy laptop warriors who excel in mud-slinging, may I add, Pakistan changed its Citizenship Act in 2002 to allow dual citizenship of 16 countries including the USA.
