Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has directed for immediate implementation of solar on-grid projects and solar water pumping in Balochistan‚ Punjab and Sindh to meet the irrigation needs of agriculture sector.
Talking to a Chinese delegation led by Chairman of Suntech China Dr. Shi Zhengrong here on Wednesday the Prime Minister assured full facilitation to the company through Ministry of Water and Power.
The Suntech would develop 100 MW projects in Islamabad or any other suitable regions within next six months.
The company assured that they would try to meet the time line to help over coming energy deficiency in the country.
