Within a week, another power tariff hike has been announced. Our government seems to continuously collect revenue through power sector by raising prices every other day.
Our government is distributing huge piles of money to parliamentarians and bar associations to strengthening its position for the coming elections, while the people of Pakistan are continuously reeling under the electricity against, without electricity. Protests against power outages are everywhere but there seems to be no end in sight. Where is the money going if it is not improving the national grid and its production?
