Five more killed as Karachi violence still raging

The violence incidents could not be brought under control as at least five more people were killed here in the city.
According to the police, Syed Ahmer Abbas and Syed Mehdi Raza, two cousins, were shot to death in Orangi Town area of Haryana Colony, as the two arrived to open their workshop.
The deceased were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where people including their relatives and residents of their locality arrived in large number.
Meantime, some unidentified motorcyclist miscreants opened fire at a civil judge who left house for office on board his car, injuring him.
The civil judge Syed Zaheer Naqvi has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors said he is in critical state as he received gunshot wounds in his chest.
He was still near his house in Ancholi when he was shot. The hospital sources said the judge is being operated upon and the doctors are making all out efforts to save his life.
Bodies of two more people were also recovered from a Lyari area of Timber Market in the remit of Napier Police Station. These two people were abducted and tortured to death.
In another incident of violence, gunmen killed a laborer Ghulam Rasool, working in ice cream factory in Hazara Colony of Kala Pul in Defence area of the city.
Police registered cases of the incidents and started investigations.
