A man stabbed to death his three daughters over disputes with wife here on Wednesday morning.
According to details, Muhammad Ahmed, a resident of Haveli Lakkha of Okara district was in dispute with his wife Aneela due to which she left the house and started staying with her parents.
A day earlier Muhammad Ahmed visited his in-laws and brought his children and wife to home with the pledge to avoid quarrels in future.
On Wednesday morning Aneela was busy preparing breakfast for the family when she heard the cries and screams from the bed room. When she reached there,she saw her daughters Fakhra, 07, Farwa, 02, and two month old Farah lying in pool of blood after being stabbed by their father.
Aneela took her two sons sleeping in other room and fled from the house.
The accused managed to escape from the home after killing his three daughters.
The police registering a case against the murderer have started raids to arrest him.
This shows a macho mentality against the weaker sex. We have become a society where women have less value, in other words they are expendable commodity. I do not see that this mentality will change overnight, It needs a complete revolution in our thinking.
