Karachi unrest, 3 more gunned down

Officials said on Tuesday that unrest continued in Karachi as shooting in various areas of the city claimed three more lives overnight. According to the police, a 35-year-old man identified as Niaz was shot dead by unidentified attackers in Sohrab Goth area. Another person lost his life during a shooting incident near the Maripur truck station. The body of a man identified as 30-year-old Salman was recovered from Neelam Point in Hawks Bay.
Earlier on Monday, at least nine people including an SP and a doctor were killed during gun attacks in different areas.
Unidentified assailants opened fire on Superintendent of Police (SP) Shah Mohammad, 50, and Dr Dilshad Ghauri, 55, in Korangi.
Meanwhile, funeral prayer of Shah Mohammad was offered on Tuesday at Garden Headquarters.
