Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that incompetent and corrupt rulers had put the sovereignty of the country at stake. Talking to reporters after a meeting with party delegations from Sindh and Punjab, Nawaz said that due to poor policies, mismanagement and massive corruption, national institutions were at the verge of collapse. He said that uncontrolled inflation, poverty, unemployment and power crisis had forced people to commit suicides. Nawaz said that Karachi, the industrial hub and base of the country’s economy, was in the hands of extortionists, target killers and land grabbers who do not care for government and laws enforcement agencies which were busy in politicking over the issue. The PML-N chief called for joint efforts to pull the country out of the prevailing crises. He said that all sections of the society should move forward to rid the country of corrupt leadership and protect the future of the coming generations. No leader or political party could alone resolve the ongoing problems in the country, and all stakeholders should join hands for national cause, he added. The PML-N chief said that corruption was at the root of power crisis and other ills confronting the country, adding that his party would rid the country of all evils after coming into power. The PML-N delegation from Sindh was led by former state minister Capt (r) Haleem Saddiqui, while the delegation from Punjab was represented by PML-N Lahore President Pervaiz Malik and MNA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

  1. and you are one of the corrupt politicians sharif sahib. please do us a favor and leave the country already since you have looted so much to last you three generations. enough is enough so leave.. and please take mr. beans with you too.

  2. Politicians from the ruling PPP and the PML(N) are corrupt, especially the ruling elite. Pakistan has been relying on loans from IMF and the world Bank to remain afloat. In addition a large amount of aid from the US and western powers has always supported the economy, however, in present scenario the aid and loans from every where are in short supply. No doubt the corruption of this govt has by passed all limits putting the future of Pakistan in doubt.

  3. What about Kasuri, Laghari, Timman, Swati, Hashmi, Qureshi…..etc?

They are biggest docoits in this country but have changed clothes to become IMAM.

  4. NawazSharif whose political history is sunk in corruption now calls other politicians corrupt. He is himself the biggest corrupt politician in Pakistan's history. It is case of a black pot calling the kettle black.

  5. Nawaz shareef himself is a dishonest person and a corrupt politician. Now under immense pressure from the king khan, Imran Khan, he is calling zardari corrupt. There is no difference between zardari and shareef brothers, two sides of the same coin.

  6. I salute clean politicans of PTI,…son in law of mina tufail,…aka Mooda, Javed Hashmi who got funds from ISI (in asghar khan case), Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who left PPP because he was not made FM,

  7. What about Sharif brothers who took 20 crores from ISI for Ittefaq Foundery, in addition to 35 lacks(today 3 .5 crores)

  8. It is not only income tax evasion, Nawaz's other corruption was much more mammoth: Motorway built in 65 billion Rs(2.5 billion US$), YellowCab scam( 2 billionUS$). 275 KM dis. between Lahore & Isbd changed to 381KM and agreement with SouthKorean co. was 3 times the normal rates. Guess scale of his corruption, Pakistan's economy being 40billion US$ at that time. Pakistan's economy was progressing at the rate of above 6% from 1980-1991, but during period(due to his corruption schemes) it came down to 3% in 1993(SB figures), now he dares to call other corrupt.

  9. Future of our Pakistan is very much doom.
Balochistanis want their separate nation which they are demanding from just after the formation of Pakistan. Jiye Sindh movement is also on the peak. Merciless killing of our shia brothers in Azad kashmir by our army is a matter of deep concern. Abbotabad and karachi are burning.
Corrupt politicians are adding salt to the wounds. US rejection of Pakistan, sour relations with India, weakening ties with China. Everyone is against us. Just pray to Allah to save our land.

  10. I am an Indian. I had so much sympathy with my Pakistani brothers and so have our hindu brothers.
When I compare India and Pakistan, there is one thing very common between us and that is our corrupt politicians.
Howsoever situation of both the countries are far different. While PoK(so called azad kashmir) is burning today whereas Indian Kashmir is peacefull. Violence and radicals creating very much disturbances in whole Pakistan whereas Radicals in India are on the verge of existence with the new wind of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood blowing deep in Indian society. Jinnah divided India on basis of religious lines. What I see today is that Muslims are fighting with Muslims in Pakistan, whereas in India, Hindus and Muslims are fighting for their common rights to against the govt.(eg. Fighting against hike in petrol prices, cng prices, vegetables prices,etc.).
Secular roots have grown deep in Indian society……..
Im proud of an Indian muslim and i pray Allah to keep everything right in Pakistan as soon as possible. Have great wishes for my Pakistani brothers.
