If you can’t speak truth, don’t lie at least: Nawaz to Imran

In a reaction to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s criticism over Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif in his Rawalpindi’s public gathering on Sunday night, PML-N spokesman Parvez Rasheed said if Imran cannot speak the truth he should also refrain from making false allegations.
Responding to the claims made by Imran Khan that the PML-N chief had evaded tax, Rasheed claimed that Sharif had paid millions of rupees in taxes each year.
The PML-N spokesman claimed that Nawaz Sharif had even donated two and half million rupees to Khan’s Shaukat Khanum memorial hospital when he was in exile.
Meanwhile, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said Imran Khan should do justice with his children before worrying about the country.
Memon stated that the supporters of the Legal Framework Order (LFO) during Musharraf’s government should not pretend to be the guardians of democracy.
He added that Imran Khan enjoyed good relations with the former military dictator, but was now talking about democracy.
The responses of the political leaders came after Imran Khan held a rally on Sunday in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi and criticised the PPP and the PML-N.
