Bodies of three soldiers have so far been recovered after they came under a huge snow slide at Gayari sector, Siachen on April 7.
According to an ISPR spokesman, bodies of two soldiers were recovered during the last 24 hours. All bodies recovered from the checkpost area have been identified.
The body of soldier Muhammad Hussain was buried at his native town (Skardu) yesterday while bodies of sepoys Rashid from district Sudhnoti, Azad Kashmir, and Ilyas from District Ghanche were being dispatched to their native towns.
He said that work on excavation sites was in progress, adding, 312 engineers and workers, 48 plants including 10 Dozers, 11 Excavators, 18 Dump trucks and 9 FE loaders were working round the clock to recover the remaining soldiers.
