Defence Authority Degree College for Women Phase-VIII made a mark and its students clinched top three positions in MA Economics Final Exams (Semester System) 2011 of Karachi University.
A DHA official said here on Monday that three bright students of DHA College for Women Ph-VIII namely Farah Javed, Aysha Jamal and Munrna Abdul Quddoos secured first, second and third positions respectively as per the results announced by Karachi University.
All the three position holder students attributed their success to their consistent hard work and the guidance provided to them by their teachers. The students were of the view that the culture of rigorous academic discipline, punctuality and intellectually vibrant learning environment at the College Campus played a pivotal role in their success.
They reiterated that they were inspired by the motto of their alma mater which stipulates, `Enter to learn, Leave to serve’. Professor Samia Sadia, the Acting Principal of the College, said that her institution was committed to achieve the goals of excellence in academics and co-curricular fields.
DHA College for Women is consecutively securing top positions in different examinations at Board and University levels for the last many years.
