IGP orders early arrest of culprits involved in bus attack

Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Shah Saturday inspected the crime scene where a Kohat bound passenger coach came under armed attack on National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, Benazirabad District.
The IGP called for detailed investigation report about the incident from Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Hyderabad and Sukkur, who were also present on the occasion. The IGP also directed them to ensure early arrest the culprits involved the incident, in which eight passengers were killed while several others sustained injures.
The IGP directed the DIGs to keep in touch with the investigation of the case and also informed him about the progress report in this respect on daily basis. He also directed them to strengthen the pickets and patrolling by Highway police to control the activities of criminals on National Highway.
Later, the IGP chaired a meeting to review law and order situation in Hyderabad region which was attended by the all concerned police officials. The IGP, after briefing about the about law and order, directed the police to take extra ordinary measures to improve the situation further.
SBCA official suspended on negligence charges: The Regional Director, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Hyderabad Region Naim Ahmed Mughal has placed the Deputy Director Muhammad Farooq under suspension on charge of negligence in duty as well as no action against illegal constructions.
According to a press release, issued here on Saturday, the Regional Director Sindh Building Control Authority Hyderabad Region while taking serious notice over the reports of increasing illegal constructions, visited different parts of the City along with the Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors. During the visits to Wards A, B and D including Resham Gali, Hirabad, Shahid Bazaar and Koh-e-Noor areas, he expressed his annoyance over illegal constructions and declared the performance of the field staff unsatisfactory.
He placed the Deputy Director Muhammad Farooq under suspension on charge of negligence in duty and taking no action against illegal constructions and warned other staff to take strict action against all illegal constructions in the city otherwise strict action will be initiated against defaulters.

  1. I think the best way to catch criminal is that NADRA should add DNA profile or every peron on t he I'd card.
