Balochistan issue

First time in nearly 55 months of rule by the PPP, I have seen a concrete step being taken by holding all-party sit down on this issue. First time, I see leaders sit under the same roof contemplating on the most burning issue of our times. Good communiqué has been issued. I sincerely now hope that our Executive takes action and ensure full implementation. Let Balochis feel as a part of Pakistan. Let us move forward to redress their age-old grievances. Let justice prevail. It is not necessary to find solutions to their full satisfaction but I am sure that steps will be taken.
I wish the PM gets over this contempt issue and Musa’s involvement in drugs or otherwise. I wish PM gets time to seriously take view of national issues with Balochistan being on top of the list. I wish PM stops advocating about him being PM and stops behaving like a school boy. If he seriously wants general public to support his Premiership, he should resolve Balochistan issue. He won’t require Aitzaz or any lawyer to establish his position for the next few months. In any case, it is matter of few more months now.
I implore Mr Gilani to leave a good taste in our mouths for people to accept new regime, new experiment and new strategies. I, as a senior citizen, assure Mr Gilani and all his cronies that we will remain democratic and will do it all according to the Constitution. There are hundreds of articles in that document which have not been read by his professional cronies. His cronies have just read 63-2 (a,b,c,d,e,f, g and so on) and 248. Their mental capacity could not have read other articles or comprehend them. Cronies keep repeating just one or two terms to keep the audience amused and busy.
My sincere advice to the ruling junta is to do something about Balochistan for a change. Mere lips services, resolutions, commissions and inquiries won’t satisfy Balochis nor will it satisfy Pakistanis. Let us not forget that Ataullah Mengal of Balochistan once said if God forbid Pakistan was disintegrated, he would move to name Balochistan as Pakistan.
