Despite enacting of strict law against the acid throwers, incident of acid throwing continue unabated and in the latest incident reported from Jhang, a man hurled acid on a lady teacher’s face after she refused to marry him. The incident took place in Satellite Town, where accused Nayyar Abbas poured acid on Khalida Parveen’s face as she was returning from school. Her face and body were severely burnt and she was shifted to a hospital in a critical condition. Police reportedly have arrested the accused Nayyar Abbas and started investigation.
