Pakistan Peoples’ Party Sindh General Secretary Taj Haider has asserted in a Press Statement that no one is Mohajir in Sindh and Mother Sindh has taken everyone in its loving arms. Those who have made Sindh their home are all Sindhis irrespective of the mother tongue they speak. Taj Haider said that noble deeds can only be returned with noble deeds. Love, solidarity and caring for one another are the only paths for us to move ahead. Parochial prejudice is poison for rational thinking and understanding.
It leads us to beastly attitudes and anarchy. If the friends who are talking of a division of Sindh in name of a ‘Mohajir Province’ do away with emotionalism and prejudice and think objectively they would themselves realize that they have chose a path that leads to collective suicide. Taj Haider said that politics of confrontation and conflict had destroyed us. Hard attitudes of one side always lead to strengthening of similar attitudes on all sides. It is our blood that is being shed by our own hands in our own streets. Politics of prejudice and conflict has destroyed our last two generations. Isn’t it high time that weapons were laid down and book picked up by our youth?
