The 2nd Khawaja Samiud Din Weightlifting Gold Cup will be held on May 30 at Greens Catering and Restaurant 23 C 111 near Total Petrol Pump M M Alam Road Gulberg III. According to organizing seceretary Aqeel Javed Butt, Baba-e-Sports Mohammad Naqi Butt Sports Lovers Organization is organizing the event. The opening ceremony will be held at 3 pm. Guests of honour are Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Ex MPA and ex-parliamentary secretary SP Headquarter Hasan Sukhera, Ali Asif Waheed, Kh Fasihud Din. Chief guest Mian Asif Waheed, Director Waheed Sons Sanitry Fittings will distribute medals certificates, awards and souveniers at 7.30. pm during the closing ceremony. Kh Sami Ud Din is former three times SAF Games Tripple crown holder and is incharge of police weightlifting team.
