Electronic driving licences by next month

The initiation of electronic driving licenses would be inaugurated by the next month. This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Information Technology, Muhammad Raza Haroon during a visit to Driving License Branch in Korangi here on Friday.
He said that with this the computerized electronic driving license branches in the province would be linked. During the visit, Raza Haroon reviewed in detail the issuance of the e-licenses and obtained information from various counters as well. He also visited the Registration Counter, Post Office and the photo counters. The Minister informed that the e-driving license project was a part of the e-policing project which would be handed over to the police by next month. He was of the view that issuance of e-driving licenses would help eliminate the fake and bogus licenses and the violators of the traffic rules could be promptly detected.
