Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, believes that the foreign affiliated reputed educational institutions be encouraged to open their branches in Pakistan. Such institutions would contribute towards fostering the spirit of competitions and help enhance the academic standard as well. He was talking to a delegation of the Aga Khan Education Foundation. The delegation led by Sultan Ali Allana met with Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan at the Governor House here on Friday. Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr Noshad Shaikh, and other officials were also present on the occasion. Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan lauded the contribution of the Aga Khan Education Foundation and Aga Khan University towards the promotion of higher education in the country. He also directed that the matter pertaining to allotment of land to Aga Khan University at the Education City should be resolved.
