All hail, Britney Spears! The pop princess was welcomed by the roar of about 4,000 people who crowded into the Frank Erwin centre for her debut as an ‘X Factor’ judge.
So how did she do-and why was she missing from the last four tryouts? Rumour has it Britney Spears is already cracking under the pressure of her big ‘X Factor’ gig. Apparently it all went down a few hours into the season’s first round of auditions today in Austin, Texas when a would-be hopeful reportedly “butchered” her hit, ‘Hold It Against Me’. News of Brit’s breakdown quickly became a trending topic on the social media site, which got the queen of pop herself to address the rampant rumour.
“#Britneywalksoff???,” she scoffed on Twitter in response. “LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!” To further her point she adds, “Texas has a lot of talent – seriously! Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far.” Spears sat in the seat once filled by Paula Abdul with Demi Lovato taking the place of Nicole Scherzinger.
