Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani directed Minister for National Regulation and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan to make Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA) more effective and ensure the availability of standard medicines at affordable prices.
This he said while talking to Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan who met him here at the Prime minister’s House on Thursday.
She apprised him of the future programmes and budget priorities of her ministry for next fiscal year.
Dr Firdous also briefed him about her recent visit to Iran and Iraq. She conveyed the goodwill message of Iranian President to the prime minister.
