A group of business owners from the American Business Forum (ABF) on Wednesday visited office of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and held meetings with its senior officials.
Talking to the Vice Chairman PBIT Dr Miftah Ismail, President ABF Saleem Ghauri discussed various avenues of business in Punjab for the American firms, and said that currently there existed over USD 1 billion of investment made by the American based firms in Pakistan.
He said further that the existing businesses would expand and new businesses would be initiated in Pakistan if only the country’s negative image was somehow combated at the national and international level.
VC PBIT Dr Miftah Ismail at this occasion assured assistance of PBIT to ABF and their member companies and encouraged expansion of their existing investment in Punjab.
